Topic: Learn what it is like to work as an Operations Officer, Collection Management Officer, Staff Operations Officer, Targeting Officer, and Language Officer, as well as how the different Directorates all work together to further CIA’s mission to collect & disseminate human intelligence
Clandestine Simulation Description: “Einstein as an Asset” : This is a participation exercise where the audience is asked to look at a historic figure, Albert Einstein, as if he had been a clandestine intelligence source for the US government at the start of WWII. How would you evaluate the information he provided for intelligence and/or operational value? What else would you need to assess besides the information itself? Participants will be asked to look at Einstein through the eyes of a present-day CIA officer. Open to U.S. Citizens: all majors - undergraduate and graduate level UIC students

Topic: Analytic Simulation Description: This exercise is tailored for those who want to learn how they can apply their backgrounds and problem solving skills to national security issues. During this short exercise, participants will play the role of CIA intelligence analysts assigned to a team. CIA intelligence analysts gather information from a wide variety of sources to develop objective, meaningful and usable intelligence assessments. During the simulation, CIA will walk you through the thought process and role of an analyst as you investigate a potential emerging problem (unclassified) that demands critical thinking skills and analysis. Open to U.S. Citizens: all majors - undergraduate and graduate level UIC students
