Seeking After School Tutors!
Project: VISION (www.projectvisionchicago.org) is a small grassroots nonprofit organization serving youth ages 12-18 in Chicago's Chinatown, Bridgeport, and surrounding neighborhoods. We provide free after school programming primarily to youth from low income, first generation immigrant families. We are seeking tutors for both paid and volunteer positions in our After School Homework Tutoring Program. Tutors will as sist students in grades 6-8 or grades 9-12 with homework, test preparation, and help students develop good study habits, academic skills and knowledge. Each tutor will work with 4-5 students during each shift. We are seeking tutors with strong personal academic records and enthusiasm and passion for teaching!
