The SMB Help Desk is a determined IT consulting and solutions company driven by an ambitious team. We are seeking a high-energy, motivated Business Development Representative for our team who loves to identify opportunities to improve business’ processes in an effort to impact their top and bottom line. You should be someone that wants to come into a growing company and have a big impact. We want an individual that wants to leverage their knowledge of technology to help potential clients solve their business problems.
As a Business Development Representative, you’ll focus on responding to and qualifying inbound leads (web, phone, email, events) by leveraging a blended strategy of outbound calling and email follow-up. You’ll be tasked with researching new and existing accounts to identify and build relationships with new contacts and garner their interest in our solutions.
So, how do you get the position?
Where your background is concerned, you should have 1-3 years of experience and a proven track record selling B2B solutions, preferably in SaaS or IT Services. You must have a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University.
You’ll also have excellent negotiation skills, a polished phone and meeting presence, and the ability to conduct high-level conversations with senior executives from businesses across many industries. You should have a successful track record of qualifying leads by making outbound calls to cold and inbound prospect accounts, and engaging them throughout the buying cycle to garner their interest. You must be highly motivated and ready to meet or exceed your annual sales target.
