Saper Law is currently accepting applications from Chicago area undergraduate students for admission to the Saper Law Immersion Program. Saper Immersion is a week-long summer camp that gives college students unique exposure to the legal profession. The program is intended to mimic the experience of an apprenticeship at a law firm and give comprehensive insight into many different aspects of the legal field.
The program’s curriculum consists of negotiation and writing exercises, mock legal proceedings and field trips to the state and federal courthouse. A key component of the exercises will involve entertainment, business, and internet-related legal case studies. Guest lecturers, including attorneys practicing at big law firms, for nonprofits, and as in-house counsel, will also meet with the class.
The college session will run from August 7 through August 11. The session lasts from 10am to 4pm each day, and will be held at the Saper Law Offices at 505 N. LaSalle, Chicago IL. The fee for the week-long program is $500. Need based scholarships are available.
If possible, please forward this email to all students that may be interested in participating. More details and the application form is available at: http://www.saperimmersion.com. Apply by June 30.
