Dear Honors College students,
Prof. Schultz here, chair of the Department of History at UIC. I need your help.
On Saturday, March 2, the Department of History and the Honors College are hosting the Illinois State Championships for the High School Academic Decathlon, with the winners going to nationals. That means 125 high school students will be coming to UIC to compete, and we need at least 60 judges. That's where you come in. I need UIC students to serve as judges, timers, grown-ups in the room, etc. To sweeten the deal, I'm offering swag: an amazing "UIC Department of History" t-shirt for any of you who will spend from 10-2 on that Saturday volunteering.
