The Academic Support and Achievement Program (ASAP) provides academic and social support to AHS students and all other students who visit the center. We hope to fulfill all ASAP staff positions with individuals invested in our mission.
Currently we are looking to fill Tutor positions for the upcoming 2017-2018 academic school year. More information on the positions can be found on the respective applications. You are also welcome to come in and ask any questions to our current team.
To apply, visit go.uic.edu/ApplyASAP
The deadline is Friday, April 21.
Individuals selected to join our staff will be hired for undergraduate pay regardless of student role at the university. An ASAP student staff generally works on average 5 hours a week (as low as 4 hours or as much as 10 hours). Others selected to join the ASAP staff may opt to have their involvement in ASAP count towards "Honors Activity Credit" and work in our center 3 hours a week. If the latter is selected, any additional hours after the first 3 spent to fulfill Honors Activity requirements are placed on a timecard for pay as a student worker.
Especially seeking candidates who are available to tutor in chemistry and math.
Interested students are also encouraged to come visit ASAP (located in PEB room 356) to learn of community space and services.
