Dr. Dalal Katsiaficas, Dr. Michael Rodriguez, Jennifer Juarez, Magda Collazo UIC’s own Dr. Katisaficas will present on a range of studies including the civic engagement of Latino youth in community colleges in NYC, and undocumented Latino college students nationally and then present some of her team’s latest findings. Dr. Rodriguez of Northwestern University will share his research on the legacy of Oscar Lopez’s activism and of the Puerto Rican riots on civic engagement among Chicago Boricuas.
