Student Veterans Affairs, Student Veterans Association (SVA) and VITAL are partnering together to show the documentary Almost Sunrise, which is a documentary that can make a difference in veteran’s lives and educate us about some of the common struggles of returning veterans while dispelling myths of the “broken veteran” or opposite “homecoming hero.”
Almost Sunrise: A Documentary Screening
This film follows two Iraq Veterans on their 2700 mile walk across the country as they reflect on their experiences of war and learn to overcome their struggles of depression.
A panel discussion will follow immediately after the film.
