Prescription Drug Abuse is a serious public health issue, especially opioid abuse. Phi Lambda Sigma of UIC College of Pharmacy recognizes this epidemic and is hosting a vigil to increase awareness on April10th, Monday at 4:30pm in room 134-1 of the UIC College of Pharmacy building (833 S Wood St). Leading this vigil is Wallace Cross, RPh, MHS in Substance Abuse Counseling, CADC (Certified Alcohol and other Drug Abuse Counselor), who specializes abuse in healthcare professionals.
