The 2017 Chicago Disability Studies Conference, organized by the Disability and Human Development Student Association, is a one-day, interdisciplinary converence focusing on disability and violence. The event is free, accessible, and open to the public. The conference will be held on April 7th, from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the University of Illinois at Chicago, DHSP on 1640 W. Roosevelt Rd. in Room 166. The conference theme is Disability and Violence and will follow the following agenda:

- 1:15 PM - 2:00 PM - Voices from Undergraduate Disability Activists
- 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM - Panel 3: Representations of Disability and Violence
