The McGowan Institute for Regenerative Medicine is pleased to announce its
Fourth Annual Regenerative Medicine Summer School June 4 – 10, 2017 (http://www.mirm.pitt.edu/professional-development/summer-school/). The program is designed to provide a week-long didactic and hands-on learning experience addressing the science and engineering related to the multidisciplinary field of Regenerative Medicine. The program targets undergraduates who will have completed their 3rd year of study. However, exceptional candidates who will have completed their 1st or 2nd year of undergraduate study will also be considered. Students do not have to have a science or engineering background in order to apply.
We are also pleased to announce that through the generosity of donors and sponsors, the tuition for this year’s program has been reduced to $500. This fee includes all accommodations, meals, coursework, laboratory experiences, social activities, and networking/career development events. Scholarship/internship opportunities are available but will be limited. Those interested in internship opportunities are encouraged to inquire and apply early.
Last year’s class featured twenty bright and eager students from across the country; we look forward to another positive experience this summer! We hope you will be able to join us! Applications will be reviewed as they are received and admissions decisions will be made on a rolling basis until April 1st.
