A coalition of students and organizations present: a Student-Led Town Hall (for students, by students) to create a space for students to vent about their school experiences during the pandemic. Almost 1,500 students filled out the Burnout needs assessment. We will share initial students’ sentiments and hold a panel of representative/s of student organizations. We will address issues happening in UIC and around our community — and how you can take action.
Our coalition is made up of students and student organizations to address the problems facing our school community in which the UIC administration has failed to adequately address. We conducted an assessment to gauge students’ opinions and experiences during the Fall 2020 semester that we would like to share out with the student body.
The Student-Led Town Hall is an opportunity for you and your peers to learn more about the issues and needs of students this semester and hear from UIC student organizations who are working to address these current issues (i.e. student debt, mental health, safety on campus, and etc.)
