The UIC Heritage Garden is a hands-on learning project with an internship program. Student interns work with faculty, staff, and community members to connect horticulture with environmental sustainability, cultural diversity, and social justice.
The internship will be from May 15 - August 11, 2017 with a one week break from July 3 - July 7th. Summer interns will be expected to work 20 hours a week, from 9am-1pm, Monday through Friday. Interns receive a stipend of $2,400.
Undergraduate students (regardless of major) are eligible to apply.
Applications are due Friday, March 10th by 4pm. Students will need to turn in a typed hard copy of their application and resume to the Latino Cultural Center offices (lower level of LC B2).
