Interested in taking a gap year before medical school? Want to gain clinical experience and have patient interactions? Interested in studying sports injuries and working with physicians that care for the Bulls, White Sox, and Chicago Fire teams?
Dr. Brian Forsythe is seeking ambitious pre-medical students to fulfill the role of a clinical research assistant, where you will have the opportunity to observe orthopaedic sports surgeries, assist and publish papers/abstracts/book chapters, and gain clinical experience. Assistants should expect to publish abundantly--your resume will look very different after this year, increasing competitiveness for medical school admissions. This is a full time position beginning May 2017, and comes with a monthly stipend. A car is preferred, but not necessary.
