Lecture and Lunch with Congressman Mike Quigley, Wednesday 11/9
Congressman Mike Quigley will be coming to UIC the day after the election. Want to discuss current events, the election, or the future of Chicago with the Congressman? Come to his lecture and/or lunch to engage in discussion!
Congressman Quigley is the US Representative for Illinois’ 5th congressional district, which includes most of Chicago’s north side as well as several western suburbs.
Lecture: "The Role of the Federal Government in Chicago’s Future", 12:00 - 12:50 pm in Lecture Center C1
Lunch with Congressman Quigley: 1:00 - 1:50 pm in 114 BH. RSVP for the lunch by Sunday 11/6 at https://uofi.uic.edu/sb/sec/3756926
Each lunch is limited to 25 students and RSVP is required for lunch. (All students are welcome to attend the lectures without RSVP’ing.) If max capacity is reached for lunch, students will be notified. Students who plan on attending the lunch are strongly encouraged to attend the lecture beforehand to be prepared to engage in discussion with our guest. Because space is limited, it is important that you commit to attending the lunch if you register.
