Winter/Spring Internship Applications Due November 1
Regional Theatre Tony Award(r) recipient Chicago Shakespeare Theater (CST) is seeking highly qualified interns for a commitment between January and May, 2017. CST Interns gain substantive experience invaluable insight in their respective departments while building professional relationships within the Chicago theater community. Current post-secondary students, college graduates and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply.
Under the leadership of Artistic Director Barbara Gaines and Executive Director Criss Henderson, CST is dedicated to producing extraordinary classic productions, new works and family fare; unlocking Shakespeare's work for educators and students; and serving as Chicago's premier international ambassador through its World's Stage Series, bringing the world's best theater to Chicago. Throughout 2016, CST is leading Shakespeare 400 Chicago, a yearlong, citywide international arts festival celebrating Shakespeare's 400-year legacy. Shakespeare 400 Chicago brings together our city's resident world-class institutions across disciplines, and welcomes leading artists from around the globe for what's anticipated to be the world's largest and most comprehensive celebration of Shakespeare's enduring legacy.
