Dr. Timothy Murphy from the University of Illinois College of Medicine will conduct a mock medical school applicant interview on Wednesday, Sept 21, 4-5 pm in 121 Burnham Hall. He will conduct the interview as he usually does in the College of Medicine. Following the mock interview, there will be a question and answer period. If you are thinking about applying to medical school soon, please plan to attend to learn tips about the interview process.
For the interview, Dr. Murphy will need a volunteer to role play the applicant in front of an audience of your peers. Ahead of the mock interview, you will need to prepare your MCAS personal statement. (A draft version is okay.) If you are willing to play the role of medical school applicant in front of your peers, please contact Stephanie O'Leary at soleary@uic.edu at your earliest convenience. She and Dr. Murphy will give you more guidance about the interview.
