For the first time ever the Wellness Center will be offering a Summer of Fun program for UIC students, staff, and faculty! You can pick from the following menu and do one activity or all of them. It's up to you! At the bottom of this mass mail you will find registration instructions for all activities.
1. Wellness News: Subscribe to the "Wellness News" and receive a one-page newsletter that will start your Monday with an inspirational quote, a laugh, and a health and work tip that you can use immediately.
2. Brain Food: End your week on a high note by attending a 50-minute Friday workshop. Each workshop will tackle a different common wellness challenge: Calming Down in the Midst of Chaos, Making Food Work for You, and Sleep Your Way to a Healthier You.Dates are:• Stress: Friday July 15, 2016 3:00 to 4:00pm Daley Library 1-470 • Nutrition: Friday July 22, 2016 3:00 to 4:00pm Daley Library 1-470 • Sleep: Friday July 29, 2016 3:00 to 4:00pm Daley Library 1-470
3. Be a Firewalker: We are bringing back the Wellness Center Firewalkers! This self-paced walking program is for individuals or groups. You pick the walking goal and we provide the inspiration! You can challenge yourself or you can challenge another group. The prize? Bragging rights!
