The Student Activities Funding Committee (SAFC) needs you! Do you have any financial or treasurer experience? Want to make a difference and impact the lives of students at UIC? Looking for a way to be more involved? If you answered yes to any of the above statements, you should consider applying to SAFC.
SAFC is the funding body for student organizations at UIC. The committee meets to review applications for funding requests from student groups submitted, ensures applications and events are inclusive and meet the needs of the UIC student body, and vote to approve applications based off of specific criteria. Some of the perks of being a member include, experience on a funding board, resume and career development skills, opportunity to impact quality of programming offered at UIC, training and consultation skills, and FUN!
