The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research is looking for a student employee (General Office Aide). Duties include but are not limited to:
- Answer phones, screen calls and take messages
- Photocopy, collate, staple and otherwise prepare materials as directed
- Scanning and uploading of documents
- General errands/deliveries on campus
- Assist in preparation and maintenance of database reports
- Help with special projects
We can offer up to 20 hours a week depending on student availability. We can also offer additional hours during the summer if interested. This position requires the ability to exercise good judgement and good oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated office and computer knowledge/experience is preferred. Our office is located in the Administrative Office Building (AOB), 1737 W. Polk, on the west side of campus near the Pink Line el stop.
