The Mikva Challenge is seeking students in their first or second year of college to join a College & Career Student Advisory Council. The purpose of the Council is to increase youth voice in policy and funding decisions around college and career access, persistence, and success in the Chicago region. The Council will be a resource for and inform the work of post-secondary access and success initiatives, including the Chicagoland Partnership for College Completion. The Council will begin its work in February and will entail a year-long commitment. A limited number of positions are available. Please encourage first and second year college students to consider applying for this important (and paid!) assignment. The attached announcement provides more details about the Council and application process. Applications are due January 22, 2016.
