This internship is with the WGN-TV/CLTV/ANTENNA-TV/THIS TV Sales Department. Duties include, but are not limited to: Assisting the National Sales Manager in the political sales process, maintaining political advertising schedules, tracking & monitoring political spending in the market, ensuring political advertising schedules are compliant with FCC guidelines, maintaining political public files and working as a liaison with political agencies and campaign managers. Candidates must be organized, detail oriented, and possess good interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Word and Excel required.
Only undergraduate (junior/senior standing) or graduate students attending an accredited college or university will be considered. (Internships are paid at Chicago minimum wage ($10.00/hr).
