Provide administrative support for the Asian American Studies Program. This position pays $10/hour and is intended to be 8-12 hours/week for spring2016 with the possibility of continuing through summer 2016 and beyond.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- filing and maintaining confidential records
- updating budget spreadsheets
- staffing on-campus events
- inventorying office supplies
- running errands across campus
- photocopying
- checking/sorting mail
- handling phone and in-person inquiries
Qualifications:One year of work experience either on- or off-campus, ideally in an office setting. Must be a mature and responsible self-starter. Familiarity with Google Drive preferred.

Eligibility: Due to the federal funding restrictions for the UIC AANAPISI Initiative, student employees must be non-international undergraduate UIC students who are enrolled (part-time or full-time) during the academic year. In the summer, students do not have to be enrolled as long as they were enrolled in spring and will be enrolled in the fall.
