The deadline to submit an abstract for the 14th Annual Minority Health Conference (MHC) on Interprofessional Health has been extended to Friday, February 17, 2023 at 11:59PM (CST). Please see the following blurb, the attached flyers a nd links for more information, as well as clarification on the conference theme.
The Planning Committee would like to remind you that Interprofessional and Interdisciplinary health is the theme of the 2023 Minority Health Conference. This theme is meant to highlight the importance of considering the lens that is used to assess minority health. The goal of this theme is to uplift differing perspectives and to increase the breadth of professions and methods that can and are used to address the health inequities faced by minority populations. Ultimately, this year's theme is meant to be inclusive to the research of all "traditional" health professionals (those that are typically at the table) and non-traditional health professionals whose work should be included in the conversation in regards to minority health. Any and all research focusing on the health and wellness of minority populations is welcomed.
