Metropolitan Farms is a commercial scale urban farm located in West Humboldt Park (4250 W Chicago Ave) which has begun operations this summer 2015. We are nowlooking forward to building the business and need help to make it a success!
The farm grows premium quality, chemical free, produce and fish by means of a large aquaponic system located in a controlled environment greenhouse. These systems are some of the most advanced agricultural production systems available today. Metropolitan Farms represents a significant step forward in growing good, fresh food close to market.
Interns will get valuable training and experience at a cutting edge urban farm!
