In lieu of the traditional Student-Faculty Luncheon hosted each semester, the UIC Honors College and the Honors College Advisory Board (HCAB) are proud to announce the Fall 2021 Honors College Student-Faculty Panel Discussion & Online Social Hour on Weds., Nov. 10th, 2021 from 12-2 pm.
Featuring a 50-minute Faculty Panel Discussion (for which registration is open only to students) focusing on pathways to and success in one's field, to be held in the UIC Academic & Residence Complex (ARC) Room 137 with limited capacity for in-person attendance (which will also be live-streamed for those who cannot attend in person), followed by an Online Student-Faculty Social Hour until 2 pm; this one-of-a-kind event is designed to help you forge a deeper and more rewarding relationship between Honors College Faculty Fellows and their students, as well as other faculty/students in fields similar to one’s own. During this social hour, faculty and students alike will have the opportunity to join breakout rooms based on their areas of study for the chance to engage one-on-one, or in small groups, with others in their field.
This special 2-hour event will be presented in a hybrid format to ensure safety while also maximizing opportunities for student-faculty engagement. Any questions or concerns should be directed to hcollege@uic.edu, otherwise, we look forward to your participation on Wednesday, Nov. 10th!
