Project STEAM Train aims to increase Chicago-area STEM literacy through outreach in marginalized communities by implementing student-driven volunteer-based initiatives! Some of our past lessons have included the chemistry of slime, the physics behind popsicle bridges, and DIY musical instruments to understand pitch.
Our overarching goal: to encourage students to pursue STEM-related career pathways.
