The target audience is for all students of all majors who are interested in joining our club/organization and faculty/UIC administration who may be interested in supporting Pick Up Lots of Litter (PULL).
We are sharing our new organization to garner interest and to invite students interested in joining our team as a board member.
Our main goal is to actively hold various community cleanups in the areas between East and West Campus, as well as Greek Town and the neighboring areas close to the I-90 where there is a high accumulation of trash and litter. This is important because not only is litter an environmental issue by subject, but a cleaner community is correlated to better mental health.
We hope to make community cleanup easy, fun, and to encourage all students, not just UIC honors college students to join us in the effort of improving our community in a meaningful and observable way.
