Call for Creatives!
Women's Health Initiative is a group of students interested in learning about health disparities across different communities and cultures. We see the healthcare complex as an interaction between all kinds of fields: medicine, public health, policy, law, journalism, and more.
This year, the Women's Health Initiative will be starting our very own magazine, where we would like to display the creative talents of our very own University of Illinois-Chicago student body. We are looking for writers, editors and graphic designers who have a passion for the intersectionality of women's health and/or feminism, and are interested in being featured in our upcoming print magazine.
If you are interested in participating in our magazine, please submit your articles, poetry, and any other forms of expression to nandit2@uic.edu.
In addition, for the writers, editors and graphic designers who are interested in having an e-board position on WHI, if possible, please submit your portfolio, prior experience and desired position to nandi2@uic.edu
