Fall 2022 Schedule
September 15th: The Notebook: The Musical
A world premiere musical at the Shakespear Theater based on the bestselling novel that inspired the iconic film starring Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams.
Broadway directors Michael Greif (Dear Evan Hansen, Next to Normal, RENT) and Schele Williams (Aida, Motown the Musical) team up with multi-platinum singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson on music and lyrics, book by playwright Bekah Brunstetter (writer and producer on NBC's This Is Us), and choreography by Katie Spelman.
October 8th: Chicago Architectural Boat Tour
This 90 minute journey begins with an up-close perspective of Chicago's internationally-known architecture as seen from the Chicago River. Then, venture through the Chicago Lock to gain a new perspective of Chicago's architecture from Lake Michigan.
November 12th: Second City Comedy Improv Show
Find out for yourself why The Second City has been the first name in laughter for over sixty years! From the stages that launched the careers of Saturday Night Live stars Tina Fey, Stephen Colbert, Steve Carell and more, comes the next generation of comedy superstars. The Best of The Second City features some of the best sketch comedy and songs from our comedy vaults updated for the modern era, as well as some of our newest classics and our trademark improvisation performed by The Second City Touring Company’s best and brightest…and funniest!
