Dear Honors College Students,
I hope you’re getting through midterms successfully, and I speak for all of us in the Honors College in being impressed by the endurance, patience, and spirit that you’ve shown in getting halfway through this semester. From endless hours on zoom to a weekly flood of emails to labless labs—not to mention being unable to connect with others in Burnham Hall—this semester has been a test, and a hard one at that.
We’re here for you. “Here” might just be a screen for the time being, but we want you to stay connected and to know that we’re here to support you. The Honors College is committed to every student’s success, and we understand that term comprehensively to include your general wellbeing because that’s necessary for your long-term academic success.
Stay well, but reach out also. Ours is a special community, and a tight-knit one even without us all being able to come together in Burnham Hall. We’re thinking of you; we wish you the best; and we want to hear from you.
Best wishes as we head into the back half of the semester.
Warmly,
Ralph Keen
Dean
