Join us for a conversation on difficult topics that impact our communities. Bring a craft that you are working on or borrow an idea from our Crafts to De-Stress.
Our Session will be Facilitated by Myasr Ihmoud, who is a Program Specialist at a local violence prevention and intervention agency on Chicago’s West Side working at the intersection of community and interpersonal violence. She received her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Governors State University in 2017, and is currently a law student at UIC John Marshall Law School. As a daughter of Palestinian immigrants, Myasar values strong community ties and a commitment to justice and anti-violence work here and abroad.
