Via Food Recovery Network:
All student and UIC community members are welcome to join the Food Recovery Network's first ever movie night where we will be watching Abundance, a documentary showcasing a group of students sparking a nationwide movement to end hunger. We will be following up with a discussion about the film afterwards and what we can do collectively on our part.
This is an opportunity to learn about food insecurity and our club's mission to end food waste and fight hunger, all while socializing and enjoying some free snacks and drinks.
This event will take place in the SCE Fort Dearborn AB on Thursday, February 22nd from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. A video on how to get to this location will be posted on our Instagram page, which can be found on our LinkTree page, closer to the event date.
