New Life Volunteering Society is excited to announce that we will be hosting a virtual health disparities workshop on Tuesday, August 11th from 5:00pm-6:30pm!
The session will go into the root causes of racial health disparities and what healthcare professionals can do to integrate this information into clinical practice. Dr. Barrett will be presenting this workshop as he focuses his work on health disparities and actually presents this seminar in a Public Health class that he teaches weekly at the UIC School of Public Health. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage in discussion about health equity and make something positive out of a negative situation, and this is open to everyone across all backgrounds and schools!
