Women's Health Initiative is an organization that seeks to raise awareness for inequalities in health care, focusing on both women's issues as well as minority health, and to create solidarity between various communities and professionals invested in women’s health. We currently have a number of positions still open on our board for the 2020-21 year.
Positions are open to all undergraduate students who are interested in learning more about health disparities. Position descriptions can be viewed at WHI Summary Document (link: https://tinyurl.com/WHI-positions). Membership is not limited to pre-health students. Current and past WHI members have expressed a variety of career interests, including pre-law, public policy, nursing, nutrition, communications, pre-medicine, etc.
If you are interested in applying, please fill out the application at 2020-21 Form (link: https://tinyurl.com/whi-app).
Applications will close on July 20, 11:59pm CST. Your application will be reviewed by the organization supervisor, Sarah Abboud.
