The Women’s Health Initiative at UIC welcomes you to the Patient Advocacy and Provider Bias Panel! This panel is for all students interested in how to advocate for patients and address bias in the medical field.
Please join us on Wednesday, September 26th from 4:00 pm-6:00 pm as we listen to guest physicians and healthcare workers speak about their experience with patient advocacy. This is a great way to expand your knowledge of patient advocacy and learn how to identify and address implicit and explicit bias within a healthcare setting.
