Interventional Radiology is a field of medicine and specialization for physicians that maximizes the use of technology in medicine. It is an exciting field that allows for minimally invasive surgery by using techniques in biomedical optics and imaging.
In BMES GBM#3: An Intro to Interventional Radiology we will host student members of the IR Interest Group (IRIG) at the UIC College of Medicine who will introduce the field to our members and talk about where it is going in the future. There will also be an opportunity for Q&A.
