Jamal Graham, one of our amazing Honors College students, is hosting a viewing of his docuseries, "Black in Evanston: Exploring Social Justice in Evanston's Education, Leadership, and Art" this Thursday, December 3rd.
Jamal created this series as part of his capstone project, where he highlights his personal experiences, community connections, and future plans in education. We'd love for you to join us!
The event takes place on Thursday, 12/3 from 4pm-7pm. Jamal will give a brief talk about the project at 4pm, and then we'll view the 3-episode series. We'll hold a Q&A after the viewing.
We hope you can join us for this special event! If you're unable to stay for the entire event, we hope you can jump on for a little while!
Please register here by 9am on 12/3: https://forms.uofi.uic.edu/sec/1356562116. The Zoom link to the event will be emailed to all registered students on Thursday, 12/3 by 12pm.
Any questions? Please reach out to Jamal's Faculty Fellow, Lauren DeJulio Bell, at ldejbel@uic.edu.
