Students who are completing their freshman year and going into the sophomore year at UIC can apply. The deadline for application is June 1, 2015. The link to the application is here: https://uofi.uic.edu/fb/sec/1081171 Students in the program must complete a bachelor's degree at UIC prior to entering the Chicago-Kent College of Law. The IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law's history dates to 1888. The law school developed from the merger of the Chicago College of Law and the Kent College of Law. A 1969 merger made it part of the Illinois Institute of Technology. The law school has earned many accolades including being ranked 6th nationally in Trial Advocacy and 10th in Intellectual Property by U.S. News & World Report (March 2014). It is also considered a Best Value private law school by the National Jurist (October 2013), and its faculty ranks 52nd in the nation based on scholarly impact (Sisk et al., 2012). The bar passage rate for Chicago-Kent law graduates in 2013 was 93%. We are excited to offer this prestigious pathway to a career in law to our students.
