This announcement and Sparkathon's Dance Marathon is for everyone: current students, Chicago community members, and alumni. Sparkathon is UIC’s Dance Marathon. We are a service organization on campus working on fundraising for UIHealth’s Long Term Survivors of Childhood Cancer Clinic.
We want each individual or team involved to raise as much as possible for this great cause. In the past three years, Sparkathon has fundraised over $30,000, and we hope to continue to contribute to this great cause! Our goal is to raise awareness of late effects among survivors as well as medical students and resident trainees and to build on the significant accomplishments of the Children’s Oncology Group in improving long-term survival and quality of life.
Our 4-hour Dance Marathon this year will be at SCE 302, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on April 1st, 2023.
