Honors College COVID-19 Response
We understand that the impact of COVID-19 is real and difficult. That being said, we have established some protocols.
Out of an abundance of caution, masks will be required in all of the Honors College areas (BH 102) for the remainder of the Fall 2021 semester, unless stated otherwise. Signage of the most current restrictions/requirements will be easily accessible in all spaces. The Honors College will send regular updates out to the community through email and the Honors College Announcements. Be sure to read these notices on a regular basis.
Burnham Hall is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., but when you come to the Honors College offices you will have to swipe your i-card. UIC has taken extra measures to allow for contact tracing in the event of exposure to COVID and swiping your i-card lets us know who has been in our space on any given day.
Access to the Honors College kitchen (BH 130) area, including appliances, will be limited to only Honors College staff members until further notice. This includes the use of: microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. We apologize for the inconvenience but as campus begins to reopen, we want to keep everyone as safe as possible.
