The official UIC student organization ASBMB (American Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology) is looking for two students to fill in the positions of either secretary and treasurer.
The responsibilities of these positions are:
Secretary: Main responsibility is to update the website regularly with meeting slides, upcoming events, etc., and manage the mailing list and memberships. Also, the secretary is responsible for maintaining and building connections with other university student organizations.
Treasurer: In charge of tracking all expenses and any form(s) of income. The treasurer creates the budget for the school year and delegates how much money to put into different categories.
