$150 will cover lodging, transportation, and food for a whole week. If you're interested in making great memories and participating in direct service for poverty, homelessness, health, environmental or another social justice issues this spring break, please read on!
Alternative Spring Break at UIC is happy to announce that applications for Spring 2015 trips are now open! We organize alternative break tripswhere 7-10 groups of ~10 students engage in direct service for a week. Each trip has a focus on a particular social issue; Students educate themselves and each other, and then do hands-on work with relevant organizations.
We welcome anyone and everyone to apply for these trips and spend a week volunteering for an issue you're most passionate about! Applications are short and meant for ASB to get to know you and why youre the best fit for the trip.
These trips can also be used as an Honors Activity, with your Faculty Fellow's approval.
