This event will partner international students with students in the Honors College to allow international students to transition to a new education system, ask questions about UIC, the Honors College, and life in Chicago, and build new friendships. Partners will get to know each other and compete together in bonding games for a chance to win Starbucks gift cards. Additionally, we will have guest speakers Brandon Ishikata, an Honors College advisor, and Nallely Ramirez, president of HCAB (Honors College Advisory Board) to share information for international students about getting involved in the Honors College and HCAB.
This a great way for Honors College students to give back to the community, international students to learn more about the Honors College, and for all participants to have fun and make new friends!
