This year, in lieu of an in-person Honors College Ball and Student-Faculty Luncheons, HCAB will be hosting a virtual Honors College Ball the evening of Saturday, April 10 from 6-9pm. We will be using the online platform Zoom to host the event.
The theme for this year’s ball is New New Year’s Eve and the Honors College will be sponsoring a $500 scholarship and presenting the winner at the Ball. Faculty and students will be given time to interact and participate in various activities along with viewing live/pre-taped performances, guided museum tours, and listening to music!
As part of the event, we will have several break out rooms for students to enjoy. We plan to incorporate Student-Faculty networking and Q&A sessions from 6:00 to 7:30PM, student performance group videos presented at 7:30, and student organizations representatives will be presenting from 7:45-8:30 pm.
Dress code is formal (dress as you would for an in-person ball)!
