Join The Food Recovery Network (FRN)! We're a service organization at UIC focused on eliminating food waste and fighting food disparities in Chicago. We have weekly recoveries from the UIC SCE dining hall and UIhealth hospital. We collect hundreds of pounds of food a week which we then donate to Chicago Homeless shelters! We are also committed to educating on sustainability and food disparities and host GBMs where we raise more awareness for these issues.
