The National Student Issues Convention’s purpose is for students to develop their own agenda of what they consider the most important issues. For over a decade, the UIC Political Science Department and Henry Ford College in Michigan, with support from the American Political Science Association has hosted the NSIC. This year hundreds of students are expected to participate from at least thirteen individual institutions, making it the largest NSIC ever.
