For all students interested in understanding climate justice and how you can vote against climate change on Election Day, please register for this League of Women Voters Zoom webinar at 7pm on September 29th!
The program will focus on climate change inequities and disproportionate effects on minorities and indigenous people. Guest speakers include Dr. Seth Moore, a national expert on climate change in the Great Lakes, the effect on indigenous people, and actions that can be taken. Two youth climate activists will also talk about their own experience with climate and environmental injustice.
This program will be ASL interpreted.
