For the last 9 months, the COVID-19 pandemic has been catastrophic to villagers around the world. In Peru, the inability to go to work and provide income has led to vast food shortages and scarcity in addition to the current political turmoil.
This evening, MEDLIFE UIC is participating in a one-hour Power Hour fundraising event for the people of Peru. Money from this effort will go towards MEDLIFE's Moving Mountains movement, which will provide money to communities on the outskirts of Lima that have been devastated by the COVID-19 pandemic.
