We are looking specifically for students who come from backgrounds that are statistically underrepresented in the healthcare professions such as African-Americans, Hispanics, Native Americans and Pacific Islanders. However, all students interested in this program are more than welcome to apply. This is a fun program and previous students have really enjoyed it and found it very informative. If a student has already participated in the program, they are not eligible to participate another year because the program is not significantly different from year to year.
